Request deletion of your data

How to request deletion

To request that your account and associated data be deleted, email hello@menus.kitchen from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Data deletion request". Include your account email and, if you are a restaurant owner, your restaurant name so we can locate your records.

We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may first verify your identity to protect your account from unauthorised deletion requests.

What is deleted

• Your account data (name, email address, login credentials).
• Your restaurant data and uploaded images.
• Driver location data collected by the Menus Staff app during deliveries. This is only ever the latest live position during an active delivery; it is not retained as a location history once the order is delivered.

What may be kept, and for how long

Some records are retained after deletion where we are required to keep them or need them to run the restaurant:

• Customer & order records are retained while needed to operate the restaurant and to meet legal or tax obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
• Billing records may be retained for the period required by law.
• Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days, then deleted automatically.
